'Having competed my CBT Diploma with ACT Counselling, I found this course to be an extremely interesting, informative and interactive course with various methods of teaching involved. 'Working with male and female vulnerable adults and offenders both in prison and in the community who can often have a dual diagnosis of substance misuse and poor mental health presents significant challenges for me as a therapist. I am also halfway through my first year of CBT and group work at ACT and I really couldn’t recommend it enough. I did my research when deciding where to go and decided last year to ‘go with my heart’ having taken advice from other people I knew who were studying CBT at different places and having met for an informal chat.
